Lowland Farm is named for the flat expanse of rich, grassy pastures and fields that slope into lofty hills skirted by the rambling Pochuck Creek. In 2007, the farm was permanently protected under Warwick’s Purchase of Development Rights program. “We were interested in preserving the land for farming, to keep it natural,” co-owner, Barbara Felton says. “When you are a farmer, you appreciate the land–you watch it change, you fence it, utilize it.” - Valley Table

Pastured Meats, Naturally Raised

Lowland Farm logo

Lowland Farm’s cows spend their entire lives out of doors, grazing on open pastures in Amity, by the Black Dirt fields of Pine Island, NY.
Cows are mixed breeds, including Angus, Hereford, and Devon, they graze on grass in the summer and, in winter, eat hay harvested from the bottom lands of our farm.

Pigs are heritage breeds who live on feed and the fruits of their foraging.

100% Grass Fed and Grass Finished

Lowland Farm beef is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. Lowland Farm pork is raised in woodlands on Lowland Farm.

Our meats are processed in one of several local USDA-inspected facilities. We sell our beef & pork frozen, in durable packaging that preserves the uniquely delicious flavor of grass-fed beef & pork.

At Lowland Farm we aim to raise our animals responsibly, to graze our land in a sustainable fashion, and to price our grass-fed beef & pork reasonably. — Will Brown and Barbara Felton, with Jason Friedman, Farm Manager
