Lowland Farm cows graze pastures and eat hay exclusively, the food that best suits their ruminant stomachs. They also range across open pasture from birth to market, rather than live in confinement. This allows them to stay healthy and live free of antibiotics.

Our cows and pigs grow naturally, at nature’s pace, without growth-producing hormones. They live outdoors in Lowland Farm’s fields and woods during spring, summer and fall. Pigs shelter in barns in winter.

Moving the Herd at Lowland Farm

Our meats are processed in one of several local USDA-inspected facilities. We sell our beef & pork frozen, in durable packaging that preserves the uniquely delicious flavor of grass-fed beef & pork.
